Read back anything safety-critical: clearances, runways, altitudes, headings, QNH, squawk. "Roger" is never a readback. Say your callsign at the end of a readback, and lead with the station name when you call first. Full radio chapter in the book.
Based on standard ICAO phraseology, simplified for sim use. Real-world wording varies by country (the US especially), and the frequencies here are training defaults — not real charts. For flying with live humans, this is exactly the warm-up VATSIM newcomers need.
